Anthony Eakins
Anthony Eakins moved to Kelowna from the Uk in 1998 where he owned a successful painting and building maintenance company founded in 1982 employing 24 staff plus sub-contractors. Serving Telecommunication, Medical manufacturing companies, and Government, undertaking comprehensive works on multi-story apartment blocks, sub-stations, estates, and addressing exterior envelope building maintenance.
In 1997 achieving an Associate Membership of the UK Chartered Institute of Building and completing a two-year construction management diploma course. He has a reputation for delivering a top-quality product, and customer service, which shows in working with repeat customers.
His consistency in quality assurance, and high-end painting & staining, has been highlighted in Tommie Award-winning homes in the community here over the last ten years. His 38 years of experience in Painting and Building Maintenance is an asset to overseeing your next project with Bedgeco Property Services.
David Eakins
David Eakins son of Anthony has worked for the family’s painting and decorating company Bedgebury since he was 13 years old. He achieved a first year apprenticeship in painting for his school project, fully skilled with painting and spraying. In 2012 David was offered an opportunity to operate heavy equipment in the forestry sector, processors, excavators, as well as working for Bedgeco.
David has always had a keen interest in Construction, and to cement this desire, he searched for a college course. In 2014 Okanagan College had just developed a new program called "Sustainable Construction Management Technology". This full time 3-year diploma level program covers all aspects of procurement, construction, and materials, with sustainability ingrained into every course. David graduated June 3rd, 2017 and will use his knowledge by managing and providing sustainability consulting for clients.
